LLR Statement by Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen concerning the terrorist attack in Paris

”In the course of the evening and night we have witnessed an indescribable, cynical terrorist attack. More than 100 innocent people have been brutally murdered on an ordinary Friday night in Paris.

The extent of the attacks in Paris is incomprehensible and fills me with a sense of deep grief.

This is a dark day in Europe.

I strongly condemn the perpetrators who are responsible for these terrorist attacks against French society, and I have expressed our sympathy for the people of France to President Hollande.

Danish authorities are following the situation in Paris closely.”
