Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen has ended his visit to Paris. During his visit, the Danish Prime Minister met with President Jacques Chirac, Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin and Chairman of the National Assembly Foreign Affairs Committee Édouard Balladur.
On the occasion of these visits, Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen states:
'We have had some very constructive and specific talks, and I have gained valuable impressions from the meetings.
The most important subject was the enlargement. I am very pleased that France supports our wish to complete the enlargement negotiations with up to 10 countries at the Copenhagen Summit in December. We were agreed that the schedule must be complied with, and that we must seize this uniquely historic opportunity we have been offered'.
